Inspired by distilled Japanese woodwork and fusuma (vertical rectangular panels), Suratto is crafted using reclaimed wood. Varaluz makes every attempt to repair the wood to be attractive and marking free - as though new and pristine - but with one-of-a-kind variations in grain and markings intrinsic to a re-worked product.
